STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
We ask our students to be prepared, and our school believes that planning our future is important as well. The following strategic initiatives represent our goals for Wichita Collegiate School for 2021 through 2026. While we are committed to accomplishing these goals, we continue to evaluate the needs of our students and the Wichita community to ensure that Collegiate is responsive to the community around us.
Strategic Initiative #1: ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Foster meaningful and engaging academic experiences that develop needed skills and qualities for every student.

STRATEGY 3 // Create and align a relevant and challenging curriculum that prepares students for the future they will encounter.
Strategic Initiative #2: STUDENT HEALTH
Facilitate students’ capacity to grow their mental, social, and physical well-being.
STRATEGY 1 // Develop and implement a whole school character education program that teaches students how to identify and take action in regard to their own social, emotional, and physical needs.
STRATEGY 2 // Provide resources to ensure healthy relationships and boundaries among all constituents.
STRATEGY 3 // Grow our community’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by developing a plan that involves all constituents.
Strategic Initiative #3: BRAND IDENTITY
Ensure all stakeholders understand our identity in order to attract students, talent, and support.
STRATEGY 1 // Establish the Collegiate brand that clearly articulates the school’s identity to all constituents..
STRATEGY 2 // Develop a marketing plan to attract students, families, and support for the school.
STRATEGY 3 // Make Collegiate a destination for talented educators and staff.
STRATEGY 4 // Establish and build upon meaningful relationships in the community that lead to increased support.
Strategic Initiative #4: FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Grow financial sustainability by incorporating best practices in fiscal management for independent schools.
STRATEGY 1 // Determine optimal enrollment for Collegiate in terms of long term financial sustainability.
STRATEGY 2 // Develop a multi-year plan that ensures adequate financial resources through diverse income sources.
STRATEGY 3 // Develop a multi-year plan that effectively stewards our resources through sound budget processes and expense controls.
Strategic Initiative #5: CAMPUS ENHANCEMENTS
Enhance campus and infrastructure to align with the vision.
STRATEGY 1 // Assess current campus and infrastructure and how sufficiently it serves the needs of our community and aligns with our vision for the learning outcomes of our students.
STRATEGY 2 // Develop a campus master plan to respond to needed improvements to existing campus and infrastructure.
STRATEGY 3 // Implement a campus master plan to respond to needed additions to campus and infrastructure.
