Our goal is that the information included on this Back to School page will take some of the guesswork and confusion out of your Back to School preparations for the 2024-2025 school year. Please take time to look through each section that's applicable to your family. You'll find important dates, handbooks, health forms, supply lists, information about our parent group, and much, much more.

Online Directory // Find out how to get the most out of our WCS Directory. Did you know you can use it on your mobile device with the Wichita Collegiate app or access it from a link in the footer of our website? You can print class lists or locate a play date's house on google maps, or gather email addresses for parents in your child's grade. Since the online directory is updated weekly, it always has the most current information. Please note that the online directory’s information is password protected and is accessible ONLY to WCS families.

CPA Website // From a calendar of events to ways to get involved, our website is helpful whether you are new to the WCS community or a longtime Spartan parent!
Volunteer // The CPA volunteer hub is a comprehensive sign-up encompassing all current parent volunteer opportunities! In addition, a fun way to get to know other parents is to volunteer in our concession stand during varsity home football games.

Starting August 15th you can shop every Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM, the first Tuesday of each month from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM, and immediately following CPA meetings.
Activity Passes and Reserved Parking // Check out our comprehensive list of passes, including the popular Sparty Pass, which sold out last year! Only 50 Sparty Passes are available, which include event tickets and coveted VIP parking for home football and basketball games!

POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Dress Code // A complete listing of our dress code policies by division can be found here. Please reference this document when shopping for school clothes. Our Parent & Student Handbook, containing additional information regarding policies and procedures, can be found here.
Additional Upper School Forms // As referenced in the Upper School Handbook, Juniors and Seniors wishing to partake in Open Lunch will need to complete the Open Lunch Permission Form. Also, students participating in after school activities that will require transportation off campus must complete the School Activity Driving Permission Form.
HEALTH FORMS
All Students // Please review our Immunization Policy. If your student in grades 1-12 will require medications administered on campus, please review and complete our Medications Policy. Students in Early Childhood requiring medication can complete either the KDHE Short-Term Medication form or Long-Term Medication form.
Early Childhood Students // The KDHE Health Assessment and the Authorization for Emergency Medical Care are required for all preschool and kindergarten students. The Kansas Certificate of Immunizations (KCI) is also required for all kindergarten students.
Student Athletes // Any student wishing to compete on an athletic team must complete a sport physical evaluation form and concussion and head injury release form.

CLASS SCHEDULES
Early Childhood and Lower School // Early Childhood and Lower School students will receive a communication from their new teachers at the beginning of August.
Middle School Students // Middle School students will receive their advising assignments by the end of July and their schedules will be reviewed during their home visits.
Upper School Students // Upper School students should receive an email in late July with instructions on how to view their schedules in Schoology.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle School Students // School supply packs will be provided for every student in Great Beginnings through 8th grade unless you chose to opt out in May. The price of the pack will be billed to your student's WCS account in August. Click here for the price list. If you plan to shop for your own supplies, check out our School Supply resource link to get a complete list of what you will need this year.
Upper School Students // Upper School students can purchase the supplies they need based on the classes they are scheduled to take. This list details what needs to be purchased for each class.
SAGE LUNCH PROGRAM
All Students // Find out more about our wonderful lunch program by visiting the SAGE Dining Service section on our website. PLEASE NOTE: Lunch menus are in the planning stages and will be posted in the SAGE section of the website just before school starts.
Early Childhood Students // All full day students will receive lunch daily. Should your child have any specific dietary restrictions, please contact the Early Childhood Office.
Lower & Middle School Students // If you would like to enroll in our lunch program, please sign up by filling out this online form: Lunch Enrollment Form for Lower and Middle School. Lunch fees will be billed to your student's account.
Upper School Students // Mrs. White will send out more information about Upper School lunch in August.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle School Students // Kids Club for the 2024-2025 school year is available beginning on August 14, 2024 and ending on May 23, 2025 for students in Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School. Before-school care opens at 7:30 AM and is free of charge. After-school care will be offered until 5:30 PM on school days. In addition to regular school days, Kids Club will be offered from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on many days when school is not in session for Professional Development days, Parent/Teacher Conference days, and some holiday break days.
Students who only need Kids Club occasionally will be billed at a rate of $12/hour with a minimum daily charge of $12.
For families who need Kids Club on a regular basis, we are offering a school year rate of $2100, billed in 10 monthly payments of $210 from September to June. Please note, families who enroll in the school year rate for Kids Club must still complete any requested registration forms by the appropriate date to reserve a spot for your student. Families wishing to enroll in our daily Kids Club should complete the 2024-2025 Kids Club Enrollment Form.
