   On the shortness of life

Dr. Sumit Shah, WCS Class of 2000, graduated with distinction in biomedical engineering from Duke University, received his medical doctorate from Stanford University, and received his Masters in Public Health from Harvard University. After completing his internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco, he returned to Stanford for his fellowship training in medical oncology. Dr. Shah currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Oncology at Stanford University and specializes in the management of advanced urologic malignancies such as prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. He serves as an investigator on numerous cancer clinical trials, with a focus on novel immunotherapy agents.
